Meet the Team

Erika

Hi! I’m Erika, the Property Manager at Canopy at Sundance. I’ve been in property management for six years and have been part of the Sundance team since it opened in February 2024. I truly enjoy building meaningful relationships with residents and creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels valued.

While I enjoy all of our amenities, my favorite spot is the Butterfly & Hammock Grove. I love spending an evening surrounded by trees and plants, relaxing, and gazing at the stars. My favorite part of the community is my team we support one another, grow together, and share a close bond, just like the one we create with our residents.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, going on hikes, and traveling to places where I can listen to the ocean waves. A fun fact about me: I could eat pizza and wings anytime, and I also collect rubber duckies for my Jeep!

Jazmine

Hello! My name is Jazmine and I am the assistant manager here at Canopy Sundance. I have been working in property management for 3 years and have been at Sundance since we opened our doors in February of 2024.

I enjoy getting to know the history behind every resident and joining them on their new journey and becoming a part of their story. My favorite part of the community is the Central Park of the community as this is where everyone can gather for a nice movie night on the lawn or a competitive match of cornhole.

I am a plant mommy at home and work, and building Legos or playing with my dog on my spare time. A fun fact about me is that my favorite animal is a panda.

Damarie

Hi! I’m Damarie, and I’ve been part of the Canopy team for about six months now. One of the things I enjoy most about my role is getting to connect with our residents, learning about their families, their stories, and of course their pets. You can’t forget about the precious fur babies!

One of my favorite spots in the community is the Zen garden located behind the fitness center. Outside of work, I absolutely love animals, staying active with workouts, and trying good food whenever I get the chance.

Fun fact about me: I was born and raised in Maryland! You don’t run into many Maryland natives here in Arizona, so I’m one in a few :)

Terry

Hello, my name is Terry, and I have been working in property management for six years. I’m the maintenance Supervisor and I have been with Canopy since we opened our doors in February 2024.

My favorite part of the community is the residents and my team because I truly enjoy interacting with them and building relationships.

In my free time, I like fixing things around the house and working on my pickup truck. A fun fact about me is that I enjoy playing fantasy sports.

Kyle

Hi, my name is Kyle. I’ve been working in property management for eight years and have been with Canopy at Sundance since November 2025. One thing I really enjoy about my job is resolving urgent repair issues quickly and turning a stressful situation for residents into a positive experience.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially at the pool it's one of our favorite activities because my kids love it. A fun fact about me is that I play the guitar.

Abel

Hi, my name is Abel. I’ve been working in property management for about two years and have been with Canopy at Sundance since March 2025. One thing I really enjoy about the community is the walking trails. They give me the opportunity to see residents, have conversations with them, and learn about the activities they enjoy outside of the community.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, fixing and modifying things around the house, and working on cars.

A fun fact about me is that I used to be a professional goalie for the Mexico soccer team.
